This role will provide support to financial advisers or consultants to enable the provision of financial or product advice to clients, as set out within the FCA’s rules and company procedures.
The role is onsite - 5 days a week - out of the Kettering office, 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls from clients and providers
- Maintain accurate client data on various systems - updating addresses, adding plans, financial and personal information.
- Process ad-hoc client instructions including setting up withdrawals or collections to their investments, calcuations and other reporting and liaising with provider on behalf of clients.
- Instructing and tracking new business on provider platforms - investigating and resolving issues until completing and keeping clients updated.
- Periodic tasks - issuing tax packs to clients annually and issuing quarterly statements.
Essential Skills, qualities and Experience required:
- A minimum 12 month’s Financial services experience
- Previous regulatory or financial industry experience is desirable
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Methodical and organised.
- Computer literate
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Problem solving.
- Knowledge of the advice process
- True collaborator, takes initiative, curious
- A desire to learn and develop and step out of comfort zone
Essential Qualifications:
- Good standard of education
- Maths and English GCSE, grade 5 or above, or equivalent.
