Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Boeing UK & Ireland team to effectively partner and manage the Human Resources of a business unit or function.  As part a team you will deploy effective and efficient HR services through common service delivery, supporting managers and employees to optimize business competitiveness and ensure a positive employee experience. Hybrid working is available for this position.

Responsibilities:

The role compromises four key focus areas:

  • Coaching and supporting managers across the UK & Ireland geography on processes that drive performance and productivity (e.g. Succession management, disciplinary and grievance, performance management, absence management), ranging from standard to very complex cases.

  • Partnering with the business to develop resourcing plans to meet business growth and change, working with the Talent Acquisition team to bring on board competent and capable teams to deliver the work.

  • Conducting evaluation and root cause analysis to help establish proactive actions required to increase manage capability and competence in managing HR processes. 

  • Identifying and deploying process and policy improvements to enhance the service offered, and to improve the manager and employee experience.

  • Partnering with nominated senior business leaders from part of the UK business to define and deliver business / functional growth and or change programmes, acting as project lead for HR related activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing, deploying and advising on the caseload management of Discipline and Grievance cases. 

  • They will also have significant experience in managing successful business change, possess strong project management skills, and manage consultation processes. 

  • The successful candidate will be comfortable applying critical thinking, data analytics and problem solving skills to novel situations with incomplete information, and without significant support from colleagues. 

  • They will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage relationships, challenge & influence others, manage conflict effectively, and apply solid UK employment law knowledge in executing work. 

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering this scope of work across European countries would be an advantage. 

  • The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, and collaborate effectively with others to achieve an outcome.
