TelevisaUnivision, the leading Spanish-Language media and content company in the U.S. is looking for a highly personable and client-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator is a key player in the employee life cycle, leveraging technology, data, and process automation to deliver a seamless HR experience. This entry level role is at the heart of ensuring best-in-class service throughout the entire employee life cycle and deliver outcomes to various stakeholders. This role ensures HR Operations run efficiently while enhancing employee engagement through a service-driven approach. The ideal candidate will add their voice in influencing the employee experience with strong communication, organization skills and a passion for driving operational excellence and supporting self-service enablement. This role will act as an enabler of a streamlined HR service delivery. You are preferably a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional with good judgement and high degree of discretion who is looking for a career on a progressive Human Resources team.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a curious, self-driven, minded HR Coordinator who seeks opportunities to add value to the company’s and internal customers' objectives by providing sound advice, timely counseling, and executing HR initiatives in partnership with the HR ecosystems across the organization.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Process workflows for HROps, initiating employee onboarding, I-9 verification, changes (title, compensation, et al) and terminations in applicable HR and ETS systems.

  • Manage accurate and compliant employee records based on Company retention policy and practices.

  • Run monthly custom reports and ad-hoc requests, as needed. Recruiting/Staffing/Onboarding.

  • Process offer letters and ensure that new hires have appropriate onboarding documentation.

  • Initiate and monitor background check screening, keeping managers & HR informed of discrepancies.

  • Respond to routine HR questions on policies, practices, including represented workforce, if applicable.

  • Ability to think outside the box for ways to streamline/improve processes.

  • Support driving automation and self-service adoption by educating employees and managers on HR platforms and tools.

  • Keep apprised and updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal skills and a customer first attitude needed.

  • Act as an employee advocate, ensuring frictionless HR experience and resolving inquiries efficiently.

  • Partner with HRBPs to enhance engagement initiatives.

YOU HAVE:

  • College degree or equivalent 1-3 years' work experience (Human Resources degree preferred but not required).

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Outlook.

  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal skills and a customer first attitude needed. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize is essential.

  • Self-starter who is calm under pressure and can manage a heavy workload in a complex environment.

  • Knowledge of ADP and Workday is a plus, but not required. Spanish fluency preferred but not required.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
