About the opportunity:

Vero Tech is one of our nine core HR outsourcing services, supporting thousands of users globally through the implementation, configuration and support of HR systems.

We’re looking for an HR Systems Coordinator with an interest in software, a technical mindset and a genuine desire to learn and develop.

You don’t need previous HR systems experience. You could be from an HR admin background and enjoy the systems side of your current/previous role, or from another background with transferable skills and an interest in moving into HR software.

What matters most is your curiosity, approach to problem-solving approach and willingness to learn. We’ll provide the training, support and hands-on experience you need to build your knowledge and develop a career in HR systems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide clients with implementation, configuration and ongoing support of HR systems.
  •  Assist with system setup, data preparation, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Work with colleagues and clients to understand requirements and help identify practical solutions.
  • Support system demonstrations, user training and client queries as your knowledge and confidence develops.
  • Help maintain accurate system and project documentation.
  • Support multiple client projects, keeping tasks organised and progressing to agreed deadlines.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and make the way we work more efficient.
  • Develop your knowledge of HR systems, technology and HR processes through hands-on experience, training and coaching.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the offices in Peterborough.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is interested in how systems work, being an software-super admin and enjoys learning new things.

You might already have experience in HR, payroll, administration or another people-focused role and want to move into HR systems. Alternatively, you may be starting out in your career and have developed transferable skills through another role, education or experience.

Previous HR systems experience is helpful but not essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, potential and willingness to learn.

Experience:

  • A genuine interest in software, systems and understanding how things work.
  • A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to work accurately with data.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage different tasks and priorities.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues and clients.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
  • The ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
  • An interest in developing a career within HR software and systems.
