Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Overall HR support to the Distribution & Logistics organization, supporting roll-out and execution of the HR service delivery model and support implementation of standard HR processes according to this model.
  • Having strong onsite presence to understand specific site needs and provide immediate support: help remove barriers, address pinch points, connect applicable stakeholders to resolve issues quickly
  • Providing strong support to build the Medtronic culture and supporting change management activities related to organizational changes
  • Validating and processing data in our payroll system, query handling through our ticketing system, email or face-2-face
  • General HR and payroll administrative supporting activities, supporting periodic and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders and project support 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR and 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience as HR generalist preferably in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities at the same time and self-organized, able to work with high level supervision and have a problem solving & hands-on mentality
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust and fluent in Dutch & English

Desirable 

  • Experience with payroll and absenteeism 
  • Experience in working in an international environment and a complex matrix organization
