Job Description

Do you want to be part of a great HR North Region Team supporting employees and managers in the UK? Then this might be your next great place to work!

You will report into our HR North Region local HR Team and will provide daily operational support to managers and employees within the UK organization. You will have interfaces within all areas of Human Resources such as employee relations, performance/absence management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits.

You will be part of a local HR Generalist team. This team is responsible for a variety of local Human Resources tasks and projects. These tasks and projects include advising people managers on our talent strategy, the execution of performance management, coaching, corrective action issues, employee development, compliance programs, and employee engagement.

We focus on your personal development and learning by engaging in your personal development plan. To start with, we will build a great onboarding plan to help you succeed!

Your Responsibilities:
  • Guide successful execution of new HR projects, including the roll-out of programs focused on organizational and cultural change
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and our admin HR Service Center to bring value and support to the business, i.e. supporting the launch of new programs
  • Ensure agreement between country specific requirements and Rockwell Automation's HR policies
  • You will partner with our legal team in advising business leaders managing employees regarding employee performance issues, disciplinary/legal actions and programs required for improvements
  • Manage employee relations cases, such as; grievances and disciplinary cases, employee performance issues and implementation of performance improvement plans and absence cases i.e occupational health, return to work plans
  • Comply with local laws related to ensuring a positive, non-discriminatory and safe work environment, including reviewing policies, procedures, handbooks and employment documents
  • Promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion projects within the RA UK offices.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Degree holder with professional qualification in HR (CIPD Level 5)
  • 3 years' human resources experience
  • Experience in hands-on experience managing employee relations considered a requirement
  • Experience working with manufacturing, sales or tech/engineering considered an advantage
  • Experience with HR Management Systems, i.e. Workday
  • Fluent written and verbal English
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK
  • Valid drivers license.
