Location: West Monkton, Taunton- Office Based

Salary: £27,000

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Part-time will be considered

Reports to: HR Manager

 

About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity due to career growth, for an individual looking to join our HR Team in a fast-paced environment supporting a wide-range of HR responsibilities and activities.

As a HR Coordinator, you will play an essential role supporting the employee lifecycle, helping foster a positive workplace culture, maintaining accurate records and compliance in line with company policies and procedures, and employment legislation.

This role is perfect for someone looking to shape a career in HR and learn a wide and diverse range of skills and knowledge with a wealth of professional development opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the full employee lifecycle from candidate application, onboarding, supporting probation reviews, contracts and changes up to offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR documents
  • Support the recruitment process including scheduling interviews and conversing with candidates and future employees
  • Support with Monthly reports
  • Support and coordinate internal and external training as well as CPD initiatives
  • Ensure compliance in line with company policies and procedures, employment legislation and GDPR
  • Assist with HR projects


Requirements
Essential
  • Previous experience in a HR administrative or coordination role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Confident in Microsoft applications such as word, excel and outlook
  • Experience in HRIS systems
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Full UK Driving Licence

 Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 or willingness to work towards
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience in recruitment and employee relations processes
