We’re looking for a motivated and driven Junior HR Business Partner to join Rakuten Viber. If you have a passion for HR within the tech industry, a strong desire to learn and grow by supporting managers and teams, and a focus on enhancing the employee experience, this could be the perfect starting point for your HRBP career!

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you’ll assist managers and teams by providing HR guidance and hands-on support, helping them navigate day-to-day challenges. You’ll also play a key role in supporting employees at all levels, helping to execute initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. Your commitment to fostering a positive culture will be instrumental in supporting Viber’s success as a global organization.

Responsibilities
  • HR Partnership Support: Assist in the implementation of HR strategies that align with business objectives. Support managers by providing foundational HR guidance and administrative assistance.
  • Manager Assistance: Work with managers to support team development and provide practical advice on routine management challenges and HR processes.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee-related matters throughout the entire employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding. Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Enhancing Employee Experience: Lead initiatives that foster employee engagement and wellbeing. Plan and execute creative programs such as onboarding experiences, team-building events, celebrations, and volunteer activities that reflect Viber’s values and culture.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, working closely with internal HR teams and cross-functional partners. Collaborate with teams such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, Office Manager and People Analytics, as well as global HRBPs, to deliver impactful people initiatives.
  • Global Project Contribution: Actively contribute to global HR projects and cross-functional initiatives to support the wider people strategy.
Requirements
  • Foundational HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR principles and a strong desire to apply them within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Communication & Coaching Potential: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and the motivation to develop coaching skills for manager support.
  • Adaptability & Proactivity: A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple administrative and people-oriented tasks across the employee lifecycle.
