About the role:

Diageo is seeking a dynamic and expert HR Business Partner (HRBP) to own the human resource strategy for our Digital Supply Chain Programme. This pivotal role will ensure the effective execution of people strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and digital transformation goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Scope

This role covers all deliverables and project-related activities for the Supply Chain & Procurement (SCP) Digital Supply Chain (DSC) Programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Planning & Development

  • Lead the development and implementation of the HR strategy for the Digital Supply Chain Transformation.
  • Ensure alignment with Diageo's growth ambitions, SCP strategies, and DSC People Principles to meet project objectives.
  • Partner with COE teams to address compensation, talent engagement, and other key areas for broader SCP organization and Digital Transformation.
  • Identify and implement global programmes necessary for supply chain digital transformation.
  • Strategically plan, implement, and assess these programmes across the SCP organization, ensuring effective dissemination and adoption.

2. DSC Programme People Thread Leadership

  • Engage and maintain effective communication with thread leaders, analyzing, understanding designing business processes across various functions, project teams, and leadership.
  • Analyze project outcomes and their impact on people processes, offering strategic solutions and guidance.
  • Work closely with PMO, Change Management, Communications, and Learning & Development teams.
  • Harmonize intersecting areas related to people outcomes through effective collaboration across these partners.
  • Collaborate with functional HRBPs to assess and manage changes affecting people processes in alignment with project objectives.
  • Implement changes through structured plans involving relevant HRBPs and workstreams.

3. Team Resource Strategy & Development

  • Assess and plan project team resources to ensure optimal support adhering to a 'buy-build' methodology aligned with SCP Digital principles.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to oversee the growth and development of project teams.
  • Coordinate career transitions for project team members post-completion in line with individual career plans by collaborating with relevant HRBPs.

4. Active Project Leadership Involvement

  • Act as an active member of project meetings, adding to all relevant discussions as part of the core team.

5. External Curiosity, Best Practices & Innovation

  • Stay informed of external innovations, ensuring effective application of digital transformation initiatives across SCP.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role with a solid understanding of HRBP principles in a vibrant environment.
  • Solid knowledge of talent management culture development organizational efficiency learning strategies.
  • Proven experience in digital transformation or similar projects within supply chain or matrixed environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal collaboration skills ability to influence work across varied teams.
  • Strategic thinker capable of aligning HR initiatives broader strategic objectives proficient change management principles.
