If so, then STEM Learning has an exciting opportunity working in our small, supportive HR Team.
The key focus of this role is serving the whole organisation with the delivery of excellent, efficient HR administration and support across the whole HR function, including recruitment, onboarding and induction, learning and development and off boarding.
There will be an initial focus on learning the fundamentals but with the opportunity to continuously develop and apply your theoretical HR knowledge and expertise through contributing to ad-hoc projects and some employee relations matters, with the guidance and support of the HR Manager.
You will work with a range of HR systems including Cascade (our HR information system), Breezy (are applicant tracking system) and Reward Manager (our benefits platform), ensuring accurate inputting is a priority. Once confident with the key administrative aspects you will have the chance to contribute towards improving our systems and workflows to maximise their efficiency and improve the service delivery of the HR team.
This is great opportunity to gain and develop practical experience and knowledge in a generalist HR role, along with the time and support to partake in further CPD to enhance your HR expertise.
Due to the nature of the role and sensitivity of the data being processed, integrity and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements.
You will also:
- Be enthusiastic, with a positive, open, people focussed demeanour.
- Have strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with varying deadlines.
- Have proficient digital skills, including confidence in using tools such as Microsoft 365 and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Have sound judgement and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
- Enjoy working with others and value collaboration to achieve shared goals
