Manchester

Build your HR career at pace — not in slow motion.

At Vix Technology, we’re growing fast. That means change, complexity, opportunity — and a rare chance for someone early in their HR career to get hands-on experience most people wait years for.

We’re looking for an HR Assistant who’s curious, organised, and excited by how technology, automation, and smart processes can transform the people experience. This is not a “filing and forms” role — it’s a front-row seat to how HR operates in a scaling global tech business.

Based next to Piccadilly station, the office has great transport links and you will get a state of the art office experience with being in city centre Manchester!

What you’ll be working on

You’ll be a core part of the UK HR team, supporting the business through sustained growth and change. Your work will span day-to-day HR administration and meaningful projects that shape how we operate.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to changes, exits, and everything in between — with accuracy, care, and confidentiality.
  • Being the HR point of contact for all payroll matters, involving partnering with our Finance team as well as supporting internal relocations to ensure seamless delivery
  • Playing a hands-on role in the implementation of a new HRIS, helping build better systems, cleaner data, and smoother processes.
  • Spotting opportunities for AI and automation in HR admin — and helping turn those ideas into reality.
  • Reviewing and improving HR processes so they scale with the business, not slow it down.
  • Supporting confidential and sometimes complex people projects, gaining exposure far beyond a typical entry-level HR role.
  • Working closely with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners as we evolve our people practices during a period of rapid growth

RequirementsWhat makes this role different

This is a role for someone who wants responsibility early and is comfortable learning on the job.

You’ll:

  • See how HR decisions are made in real time — not just follow process.
  • Work on projects that matter, not just administration that repeats.
  • Be encouraged to question “why” and suggest better ways of working.
  • Build a strong foundation in HR systems, data, compliance, and people operations.
  • Have genuine opportunities to grow into broader HR roles as the business expands.
What we’re looking for

We’re not looking for someone who knows everything — we’re looking for someone who wants to learn fast.

You might already have some HR admin experience, be studying towards CIPD, or be looking to move into HR from a related role. What matters most is that you’re:

  • Highly organised and comfortable handling sensitive, confidential information.
  • Curious about systems, data, AI, and automation.
  • Confident communicating with people at all levels.
  • Proactive, detail-focused, and keen to improve how things are done.
  • Excited by working in a growing, changing environment.

Benefits

What's in it for you?

Besides the opportunity to work for a global company that is customer and people-focused, we offer:

  • A focus on Learning and development
  • A great team of like-minded professionals
  • Private Healthcare
  • Income Protection Scheme
  • Pension
  • Group Life Assurance
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Electric Car Benefit Scheme
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Eyecare and Spectacle Vouchers

Sounds good? Then apply now and get on board today!

Add your resume and anything else to showcase why you would be a great addition to our team. We regret that this position is only available for UK citizens/Residents with indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

No recruitment agencies, please! We won't accept any introductions.
