Your Role: HR Advisor

 

As an HR Advisor you will act as a hands-on collaborator supporting employees and managers across the departments you support. You will play a key role in coaching and guiding on our People policies and procedures, managing employee relations issues and supporting key people initiatives. You’ll work with the Head of People and Lead Partner in your team in driving the people strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

 

As an HR Advisor at Global, you will:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations (30%): You’ll be the first point of contact for employees and managers seeking guidance on people-related issues.

  • Performance Management (30%): You’ll support managers in conducting reviews and evaluating Globallers’ performance.

  • People Data & Metrics (20%): You’ll pull key people data to support the business with their decision making.

  • People Policies (10%): You’ll be an expert in our people policies ensuring there’s a consistent approach in how they are interpreted across the business.

  • Supporting Managers (10%): As you develop experience you may start to own specific relationships with managers, meeting with them regularly to support their teams on people matters.

What Success Looks Like

 

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Quickly built trust with Globallers and managers across your business areas.

  • Be a go-to-advisor for people related issues.

  • Got to grips with the people metrics providing insights on turnover, engagement etc.

  • Working closely with our Operations team providing insight on people policies, templates and toolkits to support people processes.

 

What You’ll Need

  • People experience: A proven People Partner or experienced Advisor with strength in employee relations, employee lifecycle, talent identification and development, culture and succession planning

  • Business acumen and commerciality: Proven ability to understand overall business objectives and work within a commercial, growth-focused business.

  • Delivery excellence: The ability to implement at pace with a track record for effective delivery. Ability to manage change and spot opportunities to minimise complexity.

  • People management: Have People Partnering experience in a fast-paced environment. The ability to develop effective working relationships, with the ability to influence and motivate others.

  • Communication: Strong communicator with a logical, structured, clear, credible and mature style. Capable of quickly engaging audiences of all levels.

  • Analytical and data-driven approach: Will have analytical capability, experience of managing and analysing people metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium and long-term plans.
