Join the Ask JPMC EMEA Sickness & Accommodations team, providing specialist support to employees and managers navigating sickness absence and workplace accommodation matters. You'll manage complex and sensitive cases, partner with a broad network of stakeholders, and deliver practical solutions that support both employees and the business.


As an Advisor within the EMEA Sickness & Accommodations team, you will provide expert guidance and end-to-end case management across sickness absence, workplace accommodations and reasonable adjustments. Working closely with employees, managers,  Global HR teams, Occupational Health and Income Protection providers, you will help employees access the support, tools and adjustments they need while ensuring compliance with company policy, employment legislation and service standards. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise while handling a diverse range of challenging and rewarding cases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage sickness absence and workplace accommodation cases from intake through resolution.
  • Advise employees and managers on policies, processes and available support options.
  • Assess complex employee situations and determine appropriate actions and escalation pathways.
  • Coordinate Occupational Health referrals, recommendations and follow-up activities.
  • Support employees returning to work following periods of absence.
  • Facilitate workplace accommodation and reasonable adjustment requests.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement effective workplace solutions.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation within HR systems.
  • Process HR transactions and payroll-related inputs accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver high-quality service while meeting agreed service standards and productivity measures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience supporting employee-facing HR processes through phone, email or case management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies and apply sound judgement to complex situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience supporting workplace accommodations or reasonable adjustments.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health processes.
  • Knowledge of sickness absence management practices and employment legislation.
  • Experience managing employee health, wellbeing or absence-related cases.
  • Familiarity with HR case management systems and HR technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
