Lead global Watch Collecting as a P&L-owning general manager: build and scale an international team, drive consignment volume through dealer and collector relationships, establish operating rhythms and KPIs, expand into new geographies, and represent the brand at major industry events while partnering with Marketing, Product, and Ops.

Watch Collecting is one of the most compelling verticals in the luxury collectibles space, and we're building it to be a global brand. We're looking for someone to own it end to end - strategy, people, commercial performance and scale it into a category defining business within Collecting.com.

The Role:

This is a general management role at its core. You'll set the direction, grow the existing team, and be accountable for the P&L. But unlike a lot of GM roles, this one has real commercial teeth. The watch market runs on relationships, reputation, and timing, and the person we want understands that deeply. They know the collectors, the dealers, the auction dynamics, and they bring a network that gets us into rooms we couldn't access otherwise.

Watch Collecting sits within Collecting.com, our central marketplace infrastructure set to house multiple auction verticals. You'll have the backing of a scaled platform, a performance driven culture, and an aggressive expansion roadmap across Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. The job is to build the organisation, the people, the processes and the partnerships that makes Watch Collecting the default destination for serious collectors globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L ownership globally — revenue, margin, pipeline, and long-term growth strategy
  • Building and leading a high performing international team with standards and rigour that scale
  • Driving consignment volume through direct relationships, dealer networks, and strategic partnerships
  • Installing the operating rhythm that keeps the team sharp: pipeline reviews, KPI tracking, coaching cadence
  • Owning senior relationships personally — the high value consignments and complex deals that need your involvement
  • Expanding into new geographies with a clear view of where the best watches are and how to get them
  • Working closely with Marketing, Product, and Ops to ensure the business is backed by the right infrastructure
  • Representing Watch Collecting at major industry events, and collector gatherings globally

Requirements:

  • A proven general manager who has owned a P&L, built teams, and delivered sustained growth
  • Deep knowledge of the watch market: collectors, dealers, auction dynamics, and what drives consignment decisions
  • A strong existing network of buyers, sellers, dealers, and collectors who trust your judgement
  • Experience in a marketplace, auction, luxury goods, or high growth digital business
  • Commercially sharp and comfortable with forecasting, pipeline management, and data driven decision making
  • Familiar with the tools that make a sales operation genuinely intelligent (e.g. Salesforce, Aircall, Gong, etc.)
  • The presence to represent the brand at the highest level and the tenacity to go after the consignments that matter
  • A genuine curiosity about how AI and data can make your team faster and smarter with the willingness to put it into practice

Location:

This role will be based in our London office.

If you're passionate about watches and culture, and you are eager to support buyers and sellers across the world, then we want to hear from you.

Apply now and let's build the future of The Collecting Group together.
