Our Mission

At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved.

We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility.

The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for.

Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.

Find out more about the team and life at Omnea here. What we're looking for

Omnea is scaling fast after our Series B, and Sales hiring is one of the biggest levers on our growth. We're looking for a Head of GTM Recruitment to own how we hire across Sales.

You'll lead a team of recruiters across the UK and US, while still running your own searches. Your focus starts in the UK and EMEA, and grows with us as global roles open up.

This is a 50/50 player-coach role. Half your time goes on building the team, the playbook and the partnerships with Sales leadership. The other half goes on doing the work: mapping, outreach, screening and closing the most senior and critical hires yourself.

We're building a very different kind of talent function, focused on quality and care over volume and speed. You'll set the standard for what that looks like.

What can you expect?

Lead the team

  • You'll lead, coach and grow a team of recruiters across London and New York, setting clear goals and holding a high bar on quality.

  • You'll hire into your own team as hiring scales, deciding where we need recruiters, sourcers or coordinators.

  • You'll take the time to differentiate the UK and US hiring engines to reflect local challenges and optimisation.

Build the engine

  • You'll own the hiring plan with sales leadership, forecasting headcount, prioritising roles and keeping us on target.

  • You'll build the Sales hiring playbook: role specs, success profiles, interview stages, scorecards and closing approach.

  • You'll own the numbers. Pipeline health, conversion by stage, time to hire, offer acceptance and quality of hire, reported to leadership and used to make decisions.

  • You'll raise the interviewing bar by training interviewers, calibrating scorecards and pushing back when the bar slips.

  • You'll get the most out of our tooling and AI so the team spends its time on candidates, not admin.

  • You'll prepare the function for global hiring as we open roles in new markets.

Hire the best

  • You'll personally run the most senior and critical sales searches, from mapping to close.

  • You'll be a trusted partner to our sales leaders, shaping role specs and challenging hiring decisions with data.

  • You'll craft outreach like a great salesperson and close top candidates against strong competing offers.

  • You'll build Omnea's reputation in the GTM talent market: invite-only events, investor networks, and becoming the go-to person for exceptional sales hires.

About you
  • You've got 8+ years in recruitment, with a strong GTM focus in high-growth startups or agencies placing into them. At least 2 of those years were spent leading recruiters.

  • You've built or scaled a GTM hiring function before, ideally across more than one country. You know what great looks like in Sales and you can spot it fast.

  • You're still a brilliant recruiter. You love being on the tools and you'll happily own a senior search while coaching your team through theirs.

  • You run the function on data. You know your funnel, you spot problems early, and you use numbers to change minds.

  • You hold your own with senior commercial leaders. You can push back on a spec, challenge a hiring decision and earn their trust.

  • You've got a strong network in the European GTM and startup ecosystem.

  • You're a ruthless prioritiser, highly organised and outcomes-focused. You use AI across your work and you never let the basics slip on process, comms and ATS hygiene.

  • You're entrepreneurial. You want to build something, not run something that already exists.

  • And you're a really good human: collaborative, kind and low-ego. You raise the bar for the people around you.

At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out.

A few things to note:
  • We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here.

  • We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. At this early stage of our company life-cycle it's important to us that we get this together-time, and you can read more about why we believe this is a winning move here

  • We're commercial, ambitious and we don't pretend otherwise! We're actively seeking folks looking to make the most of a career-defining opportunity, with the hunger to be part of building something really impressive. You can see our values here and our Omnea Future Founder's fund here!

  • We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you'd like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we'll take your application as confirmation that you're happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background).

We are proud to be recognised for both our culture and product, and we are just getting started. Join us as we grow!

Additionally, where roles have hard-specified requirements (e.g. [x] days in office, unable to provide visas, etc), if in your application you provide deterministic check-box confirmation that you do not meet the hard-specified requirements, deterministic (not AI or subjective) automatic rejection criteria are in place.
