Role Overview

We are looking to appoint a Head of Sales & Portfolio Management within our Private Markets business in Spain.

The role will have a strong commercial focus, with responsibility for generating new business, developing relationships with corporate clients and portfolio companies, and supporting the growth of the Private Markets proposition.

Gloria brings a highly commercial profile together with a strong network of corporate contacts that could provide significant value in accelerating business development and building the Private Markets client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business generation within the Private Markets segment.
  • Develop relationships with portfolio companies, corporate clients, Private Equity funds and other relevant market participants.
  • Leverage an existing corporate network to identify and originate new opportunities.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of Private Markets and corporate relationships.
  • Identify FX, hedging, payments and other cross-selling opportunities within the client portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Director of Private Markets to execute the commercial strategy for the business.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Dealing, Credit, Compliance and other internal teams to deliver solutions to clients.
  • Maintain a strong and structured pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasury teams and other relevant decision makers.
  • Support the continued expansion and positioning of the Private Markets proposition in Spain.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong commercial and business development background.
  • Established network of corporate relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and develop new client relationships.
  • Strong relationship-management and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of corporate financial requirements.
  • Ability to identify opportunities across FX, hedging, payments and related financial solutions.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial approach to business development.
  • Ability to work effectively within a growing and collaborative Private Markets team.

Proposed Compensation

Base salary: EUR 65,000 gross per annum
