About the team:

In order to scale our platform at loveholidays, we have split it into four departments made up of cross functional product teams, all operating in an agile environment.

The Supply Platform is responsible for sourcing, validating, and delivering the inventory that loveholidays sells — hotels, flights, and ancillary products. It's the system of record for supplier contracts, rates and availability, content, and fulfilment. The platform connects to a wide ecosystem of suppliers, from major bedbank partners to direct hotel contracts and flight carriers, and delivers clean, reliable data to the teams that power search, pricing, and the customer experience.

Supply Platform currently operates three groups:

  • Hotel & Ancillaries — bedbank connectivity, rate ingestion, content aggregation, and the data standards that ensure inventory is comparable and trustworthy across suppliers

  • Direct Hotels — the operational platform for direct hotel supply, including contract loading, channel manager connectivity, and the tooling needed to scale direct relationships without scaling manual effort alongside them. This includes building a supplier-facing portal that gives hotel partners direct control over their rates, availability, and content — making it easy for suppliers to work with loveholidays and removing operational bottlenecks that currently limit growth

  • Flights — flight supplier connectivity, rate ingestion, and fulfilment for the flight component of holiday packages

loveholidays is building towards a platform vision designed to handle the complexity of more customers, more products, and more markets. The platform is organised around distinct verticals — Supply, Selling, and Managing — each with clear boundaries, but deeply connected through shared interfaces and services. Supply Platform's role in this vision is foundational: it provides the inventory, content, and fulfilment infrastructure that everything customer-facing is built on. The Head of Product for Supply Platform will play a central role in designing what this part of the platform becomes — defining the capabilities, interfaces, and data products that serve both internal teams and external suppliers as loveholidays scales across Europe. That means understanding suppliers as users of the platform — their needs, pain points, and workflows — with the same rigour applied to understanding customer needs on the selling side.

Our other departments are:

  • Managing - Looks after the entire post-booking journey, from managing the customers booking through our app to the call centre tooling and chatbot that services all our customers’ needs

  • Selling — responsible for the customer-facing buying experience: search, checkout, revenue management, performance marketing, CRM, and content engineering

  • Core engineering - the teams that provide systems and infrastructure that solve common technological problems to take advantage of the related economies of scale and increase the impact of technology expertise, forming the foundation systems are built on - such as our infrastructure and content management systems.

Your day-to-day:

Reporting to the VP of Product and working day-to-day with the VP of Data as the senior leader for the Supply Platform vertical, the Head of Product will:

  • Own the product roadmap across the Supply Platform, setting priorities and making trade-offs between the needs of multiple internal consumers

  • Treat supplier data quality, performance metrics, and operational instrumentation as first-class products with defined users and feedback loops, not just internal dashboards

  • Shape the product vision for Supply Platform as a core pillar of loveholidays' wider platform strategy — defining what the platform needs to become to support growth into new markets, new supplier models, and new product types

  • Define the interfaces between Supply Platform and its consumers, working with counterparts in Selling and Managing to ensure clean boundaries and clear ownership as the platform evolves

  • Set and enforce supplier-facing standards, taking accountability for ensuring external partners understand the loveholidays' data and integration model rather than the other way around

  • Translate between commercial intent and technical constraint — owning the product decisions that sit at the boundary between what the commercial teams need and what the platform can deliver

  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer for Supply Platform to shape the technical direction alongside the product strategy

  • Partner with commercial supply, marketplace, and operational stakeholders to ensure the platform's outputs serve their needs — from supplier performance data used in contract negotiations to the tooling that replaces manual operational workflows

  • Define and monitor Supply Platform KPIs across system health, data quality, and supplier performance, evolving them as the platform and business mature

  • Manage and develop the product managers across the Supply Platform teams

  • Work with the VP of Product, CPO, and other Heads of Product to align on overall product strategy and ensure Supply Platform's direction supports the wider business goals

  • Communicate progress and priorities through steering with the leadership team, and contribute to product leadership across all departments
