Head of Product Marketing will make Aarden a leading public voice in land markets by analyzing current events, using company data to identify market implications, publishing across LinkedIn and X, developing client case studies, building audience, generating pipeline, and establishing trust with landowners, developers, investors, and communities.

Who you are
Logistics
We're in the midst of the most important buildout in U.S. history, with large growth across energy, transmission, commercial/industrial, housing, and conservation + carbon. Land is the bottleneck for all of these efforts. Aarden is a purpose-built solution to understand, invest in, and get deals done for land-dependent assets.
While only 16 months old, we are already working with the most important landowners and developers in the country, and it's time for the world to know about us. That's where you come in.
As Head of Product Marketing, your job is to show the market how Aarden thinks about land, in public, every week, and use that as a launching point to make Aarden the most influential and important voice in land markets. When a hyperscaler announces a campus, a county passes a moratorium, or a timber owner sells a million acres, you'll use Aarden to figure out what it means within the broader market context, what owners and developers should be doing in response, and what new opportunities it creates. Aarden is used to help clients make decisions like this every day, and your job is to elevate these capabilities to a much broader audience.
Over time, we want Aarden (and its leadership) to be who people turn to when they want to understand how America's land is changing, and we want that attention to turn into conversations with the landowners, developers, and investors who make the world move.
About Aarden
Aarden is the origination and investment partner for people building on and making decisions about American land, starting with the landowners and developers behind the energy & data center buildouts. For institutional timber and farmland owners, that means helping them see what their land could become and how to value it. For developers, it means finding willing owners with viable sites before sinking months of time and capital into a site that faces significant headwinds. For everyone, it means understanding the environmental and social impacts of these important decisions.
Under the hood, our platform combines parcel data, ownership resolution, zoning, community sentiment, and price signals with suitability models and defensible investment analysis.
We're a Seattle-based team, growing quickly and founded in 2025, with expansion plans into NYC in 2027. Four of the ten largest U.S. landowners are already clients, and our committed clients cover roughly 14 million acres of high value land. We have a wonderful cohort of investors as well. Our $4m pre-seed was announced last year but our subsequent fundraising efforts remain undisclosed; you would help us announce this.
What you'll do
- Hunt for stories. Read the news every day across data centers, energy, timber, farmland, and land policy, and comment on key events that change land markets (there are a lot of these!).
- Use Aarden to find the answer. Work with Aarden technology to figure out what each event means, lay out the options it creates for owners and developers, and back it up with historical and present-day patterns. Our data team will support you in this work.
- Build Aarden's following on LinkedIn and X. Publish several times a week across the company's and leadership's channels, and grow those audiences. You'll develop your own voice along the way, too.
- Tell client stories. Highlight our clients' efforts and help them grow their businesses with case studies that show how the smartest investors in the country partner with Aarden to drive results for their funds.
- Turn attention into pipeline. The stories we tell should help more organizations see the clear benefits of partnering with Aarden.
- Speak to both sides of the market. Write for timber and farmland owners who are weighing alternative uses, and for data center developers who are quite literally racing to secure sites. Help each learn about the benefits of working with the other.
- Make Aarden a counterparty people trust. Owners, developers, investors, and communities want to know who is serious, credible, and accountable. Make our rigor, transparency, and track record visible in everything we publish.
Who you are
- You've built an audience, for yourself or for someone else, and love being part of the current conversation.
- You have a nose for stories: you read a headline and immediately see interesting questions underneath it.
- You understand how capital decisions are made. You can write for an investment committee, and you know the difference between an interesting map and an actionable opportunity.
- You write quickly and clearly, and you're comfortable presenting when the moment calls for it.
- You're comfortable with numbers and software, you ask sharp questions of data, and you can tell when a finding will holds up to scrutiny.
- You care a lot about accuracy. Our clients make nine- and ten-figure decisions with our data, and one wrong number can alienate their trust.
A lot of the people who'd be great at this are mid-career product or content marketers at data and software companies who ended up becoming the public voice of their company's data. Backgrounds in business journalism or analyst work can be a great fit too. Familiarity with land, energy, infrastructure, or investing helps; curiosity matters more.
Logistics
- Location: Seattle or New York City, in-person at least three days per week
- Compensation: $130-190K plus equity
- Reports to: CEO or COO
- We consider all applications, but you're most likely to be evaluated if you can find a mutual connection with the CEO or COO and ask for an introduction.
