A bit about the job:

The Head of Product Management for Public Markets is accountable for ensuring the existing product range remains fit for purpose and is the first point of contact for product related queries / change requests on existing products. You will be an active and effective member of the Product Leadership team representing the existing products within Public Markets and ensuring adequate prioritisations of change activity. Within the role, you will be the first point of contact for Sales and all other Aviva Investors functions for Public Markets product related queries and support business functions in resolution of day-to-day product issues. You will be accountable for a range of existing products and making recommendations for changes where required. This includes coordinating the completion of Product Change Feasibility assessments with particular focus on analysis of existing customer impact and delivering good customer outcomes; and ensuring annual fund reviews and Post Launch Reviews are carried out in a timely manner and recommendations are actioned. You will also work with the Investment Specialists to ensure existing products are championed and front of mind by working with marketing, sales, market intelligence teams etc to galvanise the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Track record of successfully designing and launching products as well as managing and culling products.

  • Effective and up to date regulatory knowledge, ensuring that all product design / development is compliant and existing products remain fit for purpose and comply with evolving regulations.

  • A confident networker and relationship builder – both external and internal.

  • Strong regulatory and product technical knowledge within Public Markets

  • Experience of managing product changes such as mergers, closures and other regulatory prospectus updates
