Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

We are looking for a Head of People Strategy to help us build the people infrastructure that matches our ambitions. Reporting into the Chief of Staff, you will lead the development and execution of the organisation’s people capability & transformation strategy. Ensuring the people infrastructure matches our ambitions to enable our rapid scale-up growth, driving a high-performance culture, and strengthen leadership and organisational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on the human side of transformation – designing the organisation of tomorrow, unlocking the potential of people and teams to drive growth.
  • Design and embed performance management and feedback frameworks that drive a high-performance culture.
  • Bring commercial rigour to organisational design decisions, ensuring structure and capability choices are grounded in business priorities and growth plans.
  • Own and deliver the organisational development strategy, turning that design into practical roadmaps and initiatives.
  • Strengthen organisational effectiveness and culture, embedding values, engagement and inclusion across the organisation.
  • Use organisational insight and data to diagnose needs, shape interventions and measure the impact of OD initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organisational change, transformation and broader people strategy topics as they arise.
Must have qualifications
  • Significant experience in organisational development, with proven delivery of Organisation Development, L&D, performance management , or people development initiatives in a fast-growing, complex or commercial environment (e.g. scale-up, tech, or high-growth business).
  • Strong business partnering capability, with experience influencing senior leaders and working closely with leadership teams to shape organisation design, capability and ways of working.
  • Leadership and capability development expertise, including designing and delivering programmes for managers and senior leaders, and building practical frameworks (e.g. leadership expectations, career pathways).
  • Evidence-based OD approach, with the ability to use data, insight and diagnostics (engagement data, feedback, workforce insights) to identify priorities and measure impact.
