What we need for this role

We are looking for a highly commercial leader to lead the Omni Channel Marketing team across our four key teams in Network Operators, Retailers, Pure Players and Ecosystem across B2B and B2C businesses. You will have a strong understanding of annual planning, contract negotiation, return on investment, profit focus and tier one brand channel execution. This person will lead the team of 27 to develop and implement a step-change wherever our customers shop. Our goal is to be number 1 in all channels in all MX categories. This is targeted and measured vs the competition, market share, deep relationships with all channel partners and most importantly in the eyes of consumers.

This role will play a critical part in enhancing Samsung market share, ensuring consistent excellence across online and offline with a  focus on lower funnel conversion. Whilst setting the benchmark for omnichannel marketing in the consumer electronics space both within B2C and B2B.

What does success look like?

  • Develop and implement forward-thinking omnichannel strategy designed to anticipate and adapt to evolving consumer behaviours, particularly the shift toward online-first research and purchases
  • Strong understanding of the Retailer, Pureplay and Operator sectors and how to prioritise investments across different segments of the business seasonally to maximise revenues whilst yielding a true ROI and ROAS. Understand and teach the art of science behind spend efficiency to maximise revenues and meet quarterly forecast executions
  • Maintain and nurture C level executive relationships across key channel partners and ensure right customer engagement and opportunities are unlocked exclusively for Samsung via joint marketing initiatives
  • Lead a step-change in integrated marketing plans that leverage data-driven insights to enhance customer journeys across retail, contact centres, e-commerce, social and experiential channels 
  • Overhaul our existing customer contracts (channel retail, Digital JBP, Marketing MOU’s) to ensure accountability, compliance and adequate data sharing from partners whilst maintaining investment efficiencies and 50:50 funding principles
  • Own and lead the governance and execution of channel partner launch and promotional plans ‘play backs’ and ‘wall walks’ to the wider business and MX LT for relevant categories
  • Control, optimize and develop multi-channel marketing investments for your relevant categories across the available budgets that are measurable and aligned to the teams ROAS principles.
  • Ensure 3P funding (Google, Qualcomm, Microsoft), channel contractual and incremental investments are commercially aligned via agreed ROAS principles
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to gain market share by delivering unique propositions that resonate with target demographics.
  • Data Analysis & Growth Strategy Development: Use data analytics to understand user behaviour, identify growth opportunities, and optimize engagement strategies. Continuously monitor and analyse KPIs, refining tactics and introducing new strategies to maximize retention, engagement, and revenue.
