This key sales role is responsible leading the National Accounts Team within FoB Fleet oversees >100 of the largest Fleets in the UK, for household names such. This role is also responsible for Fleet Go-To-Market strategy implementation, interfacing with Ford Pro, Aftersales & CX teams to ensure best in class customer interactions on vehicle and Ford Pro service proposition.

 

Key Objectives: 

  • Oversee and have active involvement in the account management for over 100 National Accounts Fleets.

  • Delivery of commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle sales plan to achieve growth & VETS compliance.

  • Lead role on Fleet Go-To-Market strategy implementation including Ford Pro services.

  • Maintain sales forecasts and sales plans by customer, in addition to regular forecasting process.

  • Implement enhanced processes of customer and pipeline management, utilising Salesforce & AI

  • Leverage life-time margin data to make best in class commercial recommendations.

 

Responsibilities
  • Management, motivation & coaching of up to 7 Key Account Managers 

  • Coordination & project management of large tender activity to ensure that Ford proposals stand out in terms of customer value.

  • Ensure voice of the customer is heard across all Ford functions including product, engineering, finance & aftersales.

  • Account Management at a senior level within customer organisations to meet ongoing vehicle requirements, issue resolution, vehicle supply & product suitability.

  • Manage flawless launch of new products to customers, including the management of runout production volumes.

  • Ensure the full suite of Ford Pro Product offering across all pillars is delivered seamlessly to our biggest and most influential Corporate Customers.

  • Development & monthly review of Sales plans (short, medium & long term), that grow volume through conquest business, together with identification and rectification of volume decline among larger accounts.

  • Presentation of fleet paper proposals that provide value to customers & deliver volume and profit to Ford.

  • Management of weekly stakeholder conference calls to support the effective supply & delivery of large vehicle orders

  • Coordination of a weekly review with Fleet Aftermarket to manage ongoing customer aftermarket concerns.

  • Weekly district & dealer interface, sales forecasting & reporting.

  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders in the customer supply chain, including supplying dealership, leasing company and converter.

  • Leverage Sales Force as chosen CRM system to ensure wider business visibility of customers opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

  • Field experience (Customer and/or dealer facing) essential.

  • Strong Product knowledge across all Ford Vehicles & Ford Pro services.

  • Previous Supervisory experience and leading a high performing sales team

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access and CRM systems such as Salesforce

This is an exciting and high profile role that offers the opportunity to make a difference within the Ford of Britain Fleet Sales organisation, while gaining a detailed understanding of large customer organisations outside of Ford. This role also offers significant supervisory experience with up to 7x direct reports.

 

This region is National; therefore, regular travel will be required. Sufficient time in the FoB Office, Dunton, is also required to support relationships with internal stakeholders.
