Job Title: Head of Market Strategy
Location: Basingstoke / Hybrid
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Head of Market Strategy, who will be part of the Growth Leadership Team, reporting into our Director of Strategic Innovation. This role will be working alongside our Head of Strategic Partnering, Head of Capture and Bid Management, Head of Technical Advisory Services (Pre-Sales engineering) and Head of Offerings (R&D).
Your Role
- This role is being created to own our market strategy for the business unit
- Key interfaces – Senior Leadership Team for overarching direction and corporate strategy, BD teams for sales, R&D teams for product development
- Initially this role will be covering the UK team, with potential to grow into global support
- Classic strategy role – both desk-based research and deep relationship building with senior stakeholders to inform where we can position our products.
- Opportunity to grip marketing link and comms for the right person.
- Opportunity to act as SRO opportunity lead for a different type of person.
Skills and Experience:
- C-suite level engagement skills
- High curiosity and research skills – both desk-based and personal engagement
- Confident turning insights into business direction
- Business case writing
- Senior leadership behaviours
- Senior leadership level commercial and financial acumen
- Understanding of wider ecosystem in the UK and beyond
This role requires candidates to hold or willing to undergo a high level of security clearance prior to commencing the role.
