About enua
enua is an integrated medical cannabis company with a mission to give patients safe and reliable access to treatment. We are the second-largest supplier in the German market and a fast-growing international group, on track for around €100m in group revenue in 2026 with a double-digit EBITDA margin. Founded in Cologne in 2018, we have built a profitable business across our own products and more than 700 partner pharmacies.
Now we are bringing that to the UK. Medical cannabis is one of the fastest-growing areas of UK healthcare: around 140,000 people will be prescribed it in 2026, up from around 100,000 a year earlier. Yet an estimated 1.8 million people in the UK already use cannabis to manage a health condition, mostly outside the legal system. That is more than 10x today’s market, in a category that is still largely uncharted.
We are building a clinic and platform that makes care simpler, faster and more personal. Our UK team is at an early stage, which means real ownership, real impact and the chance to shape how we work from day one.
The role
* Location: London, 4 days a week in the office
* Reporting to: MD and Co-Founder UK
* Employment type: Full-time, permanent
As Head of Growth, you will lead growth for enua UK: building our patient acquisition engine and shaping how the UK talks about medical cannabis as a legitimate treatment. This is a highly commercial, founding leadership role in the UK.
You will own our growth strategy and budget, with the mandate to build the team and infrastructure to deliver it. You will sit on a small management team with our MD and Co-Founder, jointly responsible for the success of the business, and have a real say in product, pricing and go-to-market decisions.
Tasks
* Leadership: Be a core member of our management team, jointly responsible for setting and delivering the strategy for the business. Build a high-performing, AI-first marketing team and get the best from our agencies and freelancers.
* Growth strategy and execution: Own the growth plan and budget. With the MD, set and deliver our patient acquisition strategy, including which channels we use and how much we invest in each. Partner with product and tech to improve conversion across our website and sign-up flow, and evolve our brand positioning as we learn from patients.
* Long-term value: Drive total net long-term value from every patient we acquire, optimising CAC, average revenue per patient and retention together. Focus on acquiring the right patients, not just more of them. Set targets and budgets with finance based on unit economics.
* Performance marketing: Own performance across all channels, including search and SEO, paid social, affiliates, partnerships, referral, offline and print.
* Tracking and reporting: Set up attribution, tracking and reporting from scratch, so every pound of spend is accountable, and report weekly on performance.
* Category awareness and PR: Build awareness and trust in medical cannabis and help reduce stigma. Set our PR strategy with our agency partners.
* CRM and retention: Shape the patient CRM journey to drive engagement and retention, working closely with our clinical team.
Requirements
* A strategic, AI-first leader: 7+ years in marketing, with at least 3 in a senior or Head of role. You have led a team of 3 or more, been part of a leadership team and embedded AI in how a team works.
* Experienced performance marketer: Strong hands-on experience across search, SEO, paid social and funnel optimisation, with a track record of scaling spend at a healthy CAC and LTV:CAC. Partnerships experience is a real bonus.
* A builder: You have been an early hire in a founding team and helped take a consumer business from launch through rapid scale, building the growth engine rather than inheriting it.
* Sector-savvy: Background in D2C subscription, consumer health or another regulated category (healthcare, pharma, telehealth or similar), with a good grasp of repeat-purchase economics, CRM and advertising within the rules.
* Commercially sharp: You think in unit economics and long-term value, can explain the numbers to non-marketers and make every pound work.
* A proactive driver of growth: You test, learn and adapt quickly without waiting to be asked.
Benefits
* Define a new category: Medical cannabis is still young in the UK. You will shape how patients, clinicians and the public see it, and set the standard for what great looks like.
* Build it with the founding team: A seat on our small management team from day one, working side by side with our MD and Co-Founder.
* Real ownership: Your own budget, your own plan and the mandate to build the team and partners to deliver it.
* A fast-growing market: Patient numbers are growing by around 40% a year, with more than 10x headroom still to come.
* Serious backing: The support of a profitable European healthcare group with real credentials in products, pharmacy and telemedicine.
We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive team and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Excited but not sure you tick every box? We would still love to hear from you. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the process, just let us know.
