The Head of Global Pricing at GSK is a critical role responsible for leading and managing the overall pricing philosophy in line with GSK's Access and Pricing principles. This includes developing and implementing value-based pricing strategies, ensuring competitive pricing, shaping and leading GSK’s pricing guidance and governance to ensure alignment with business objectives, compliant pricing frameworks across global markets and overseeing daily pricing operations. The role requires strong leadership to build, recruit, and coach a high-performing pricing team while collaborating with various departments at Global, Regional and Local levels for seamless coordination and effective communication. Additionally, the Global Head of Pricing drives continuous improvement in pricing processes and systems, leverages data analytics for informed decision-making, and maintains high level of expertise on critical global pricing trends to proactively address market changes and challenges. The ultimate goal is to embed pricing excellence throughout the organization and ensure consistent, effective pricing practices across all markets.
Key Responsibilities will be:

Build, lead, and coach a best-in-class Global Pricing team, encompassing both operational and strategic pricing functions.

Design the organization and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless coordination across global, regional, and local teams, as well as various functions such as Global Market Access, Commercial, Medical, Compliance, and Finance.

Define and govern pricing processes, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and consistency across the organization.

Partner with Global Market Access BU Leads to develop and implement BU-specific pricing strategies and guidance.

Lead the development of integrated pricing systems and capabilities, leveraging data for proactive insights, decision-making, price forecasting, and horizon scanning.

Develop advanced analytics and tools to support informed pricing decisions, including planning, reporting, and investment trade-offs.

Monitor external pricing trends and events to proactively adjust strategies and maintain expertise in global pricing developments.

Drive change management initiatives, fostering a culture of pricing excellence, and ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems, and tools across the organization.

Apply consistent principles across Business Units to enhance pricing competencies and capabilities
Requirements:
-
Graduate degree in medicine, sciences, business administration, finance, health policy, health economics or other relevant qualification
-
15+ years relevant experience acquired at pharmaceutical companies, Payer or Health Technology Assessment agencies, physician associations or relevant consultancy companies in a multi-national context

Extensive experience (15+ years) in global pharmaceutical pricing, including both operational and strategic pricing.

Extensive experience with global pricing frameworks, including knowledge of diverse healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement landscapes in key markets (US, EU, UK, EM, GCI)

Leadership experience

Experience of working in an above country role/Global team in the market access space

Experience driving change within an organization, particularly in establishing new processes, teams, or systems.
