NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature.

This role exists because we're scaling quickly — both technically and commercially — and the business needs financial infrastructure that can keep pace. You'll have direct ownership over the financial operating model: building structure, improving processes, and giving the company the clarity it needs to grow properly.

This is a senior leadership role sitting directly below the CFO. It's for someone who's comfortable switching gears — fixing a broken process one minute, supporting board-level decision-making the next.

Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like:

• Own and evolve the three-statement financial model and drive robust, driver-based forecasting capability across the business
• Lead the preparation of board-level financial reporting, acting as a critical review layer on financial outputs and supporting investor and stakeholder requirements
• Improve and scale core finance processes with a strong focus on automation and efficiency — identifying and resolving operational debt across systems and workflows
• Partner with the CFO to optimise systems (including NetSuite) and strengthen the link between financial data, revenue drivers, and business KPIs
• Embed budgeting and financial ownership across departments, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and representing finance at leadership level
• Lead and oversee FP&A output, supporting strategic planning, scenario modelling, and investment decisions
• Support and develop FP&A capability within the team as the function scales

We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a high-growth or scale-up environment
• Strong track record in building and improving finance processes and systems
• Experience developing and owning complex financial models and forecasts
• Exposure to board-level reporting and senior stakeholder engagement
• High level of data literacy with the ability to turn complex data into clear insight and operate both strategically and hands-on

• Experience in cloud, infrastructure, or technology-led businesses
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Experience scaling finance functions in a fast-moving environment
