We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25mill of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the creation and franchising of virtual food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen, there’s 70,000 of them in the UK. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery apps whilst continuing to service their core customers. You run the kitchen, we do the rest!

As the eCommerce Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our overall consumer proposition, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across all touchpoints. You will lead strategic initiatives across pricing, discounting, branding, and merchandising, directly managing key team members to drive business performance and growth. You will also collaborate closely with our food development and supply chain teams to enhance our consumer offering.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the Consumer Proposition: Develop and execute a compelling, customer-centric approach across all touchpoints with PWB, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience.
  • Branding & Merchandising: Lead our branding and merchandising approach through the direct management of our Brand Manager, ensuring our visual and brand identity align with business goals.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the food development and supply chain teams to enhance our overall consumer offer, ensuring alignment between product availability, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Performance & Insights: Monitor key performance metrics, consumer trends, and industry developments to refine strategies and improve engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Pricing & Discounting Strategy: Oversee pricing strategies, discounting models, and promotional campaigns through the direct management of our Pricing Manager.

Your Experience

  • Proven experience supporting FMCG, eCommerce, or a Direct-to-Consumer retail business include consumer proposition strategy, or brand management.
  • Management skills from a high-end consultancy (big 4 or strategic), or Brand management experience at a blue-chip FMCG.
  • Strong background in pricing, discounting, and promotional strategy.
  • Experience in brand management, merchandising, and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
