As a Head of Clinical Insights, you’ll play a key role in that purpose. You’ll help shape how we understand health outcomes across our global business. Your work will turn data, research and real-world evidence into clear insights that improve care, guide strategy and support better decisions.
This is a unique opportunity to influence how we deliver safe, high-quality care at scale. You’ll work at the centre of clinical thinking — helping us spot risks earlier, understand what works, and improve outcomes for our customers around the world.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
Lead the strategy for clinical insights, research and intelligence across Bupa
Turn complex data and research into clear, practical insights that senior leaders can act on
Identify trends, risks and opportunities in healthcare through horizon scanning and research
Support business strategy, including clinical quality improvement and investment decisions
Oversee how we measure and understand clinical outcomes, including patient experience and performance data
Work closely with clinical leaders, analysts and senior stakeholders across the business
Provide insight and advice to governance forums, helping guide safe and effective care
Share thought leadership internally and externally, helping shape how we use evidence in healthcare.
What you'll bring:
You’ll bring a mix of clinical understanding, insight expertise and strong leadership.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in clinical insights, research, or evidence-based roles
Can use data and research to support strategic decision-making
Is confident working with senior stakeholders and explaining complex ideas clearly
Has led teams or programmes focused on insights, outcomes or data
Understands how to turn analysis into practical recommendations
Has knowledge of healthcare trends, research methods and regulation
Brings strong leadership skills and can support and develop others
Is comfortable working in a global, complex healthcare environment
It would also be helpful if you have:
A higher research qualification (such as MSc or PhD)
Experience working across different countries or healthcare systems
Experience using patient outcome measures or benchmarking
