Job Purpose

We are looking for a Head of Client Portfolio Manager to join the Astound Digital team.

In this role you’ll get to:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Client Portfolio team, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Define and execute account plans to drive growth and profitability across strategic accounts.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the executive point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Understand clients' business needs and challenges, and ensure our solutions meet their objectives.

3. Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our footprint within existing accounts.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Client Portfolio team.
  • Establish performance metrics and regularly review the team’s performance, providing feedback and development opportunities.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Delivery, Product SME’s, Support) to ensure a cohesive approach to client management.
  • Ensure effective communication of client feedback and market intelligence to internal stakeholders.

6. Project and Program Management:

  • Oversee the delivery of strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Manage escalations and ensure effective resolution of issues impacting client satisfaction.

7. Market and Industry Expertise:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Use insights to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our service offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles within the IT or software industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts, preferably within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce products, solutions, and market trends.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate at senior executive levels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
