About Magentic

We're building next-generation AI agents that can manage entire procurement workflows, tackling one of the world's largest industries. Our mission is to make global manufacturing supply chains more resilient by combining cutting-edge AI with deep enterprise expertise.

Backed by Sequoia Capital, our team brings together experience from OpenAI, Meta, Revolut, NASA and McKinsey. We're still early, which means every person who joins has the opportunity to shape the company, influence the product, and have an outsized impact.

The Role

We're looking for a highly organised, ambitious GTM Associate to join our commercial team.

This is an ideal role for someone with 1-2 years of sales or go-to-market experience who wants to learn quickly in a fast-moving startup. You'll work closely with CEO and commercial team, supporting customer conversations from first meeting through to deal progression. You build the commercial, communication and customer-facing skills needed to succeed in enterprise go-to-market.

You'll meet with prospective customers (we focus on the Fortune 500), help prepare demos on our product, coordinate follow ups, keep opportunities moving, and gradually take on more customer ownership.

If you're curious, commercially minded and excited by AI, you'll be given significant responsibility from day one.

What You'll Do:

  • Join customer meetings to understand customer challenges and how Magentic solves them.

  • Help prepare and deliver product demonstrations alongside the commercial team.

  • Draft customer follow ups, proposals and responses to customer questions.

  • Research target accounts and support customer discovery to help progress commercial opportunities.

  • Work closely with product and engineering to share customer feedback and shape future product development.

  • Take on increasing ownership of customer conversations and commercial opportunities as you grow.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or commercial role who's excited to build a career in enterprise sales.

You don't need to have done this exact job before, but you should be eager to learn, comfortable taking ownership, and excited by the opportunity to work in a fast-moving AI startup.

You'll likely have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a commercial, sales, customer success or other customer-facing role.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and customers.

  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • An AI-first mindset, using tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to improve the quality and efficiency of your work.

  • A genuine interest in technology, startups and solving customer problems.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS.

  • Experience preparing presentations or customer-facing materials.

  • Exposure to procurement, supply chain or enterprise software.

Compensation And Benefits

At Magentic, we recognise and reward the talent that drives our success. We offer:

  • Competitive Equity: play a real part in Magentic’s upside

  • A salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

  • In-office lunches provided

  • Monthly organised socials and an additional flexible monthly social budget for team lunches, coffees, dinners, or activities with colleagues

  • Salary sacrifice pension and nursery schemes

  • Hybrid London HQ (3-4 days in the office/customer site)

  • Annual team retreat—a fully-funded off-site to recharge, bond, and build

Overview
Application

We’re looking for our first Growth Marketer to help define how Magentic goes to market. This is a zero-to-one role: you’ll work directly with the founders to determine who our ideal customers are, what messaging resonates with them, and which acquisition channels actually work.

You’ll be hands-on, running experiments across the full marketing stack — customer research, messaging, campaigns, and distribution — and turn early signals into repeatable growth playbooks. The goal is to build the foundations of a scalable growth engine that we can later expand with a team around you.

We’re pushing the boundaries of AI with next-generation agentic systems that can manage entire procurement workflows. Our mission is to make global manufacturing supply chains robust to an ever-changing world - that’s a $3tn market opportunity.

If that’s not exciting enough - we’re backed by world-class investors including Sequoia Capital, and you’d be working along a super talented team which brings together expertise from OpenAI, Meta, Revolut, NASA and McKinsey (and that’s just the first 11 people!).

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with our CEO to refine our ideal customer profile and develop clear buyer personas and use cases

  • Build the narrative for Magentic as a category-defining AI platform for procurement

  • Design and run rapid experiments across acquisition channels to build our growth playbook

  • Leverage modern AI and automation tools to analyse, track, report and execute

  • Work closely with founders, sales, and product to turn customer insights into product and messaging improvements

You Might Be a Great Fit if You

  • Have experience driving measurable growth at an early-stage enterprise B2B startup.

  • Have a strong bias for execution and ownership

  • Are comfortable operating across the full marketing stack (customer research, messaging, campaigns, analytics).

  • Strong mix of analytical thinking and creative storytelling.

  • Have a highly experimental mindset — able to test quickly, learn, and iterate.

Compensation and Benefits

At Magentic, we recognise and reward the talent that drives our success. We offer:

  • Competitive Equity: play a real part in Magentic’s upside

  • A salary of £90-100k

  • Visa sponsorship available for this role

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • 25 days holiday exc bank holidays, plus an extra day for our Christmas shutdown

  • In-office lunches provided

  • Monthly organised socials and an additional flexible monthly social budget for team lunches, coffees, dinners, or activities with colleagues

  • Salary sacrifice pension and nursery schemes

  • Hybrid London HQ (4 days per week onsite)

  • Annual team retreat—a fully-funded off-site to recharge, bond, and build

  2. Skills interview (60 mins with some prep): in this step, we'll ask you to present some of your work to us and discuss it.

  3. In-person interview: for the final step, we invite you to come meet the team in-person and work alongside us! We find this is the best way for candidates to get a sense of what working at Magentic is like.
