About Reedsy

We’re here to give authors the tools and resources they need to create beautiful books. Our marketplace gathers the industry's best publishing professionals — the likes of Neil Gaiman's editor, Nora Roberts' book marketer, and GRRM’s cover designer.

We’ve grown to a community of 5,000,000 authors, and transformed the way people write and publish their book. Want to hop on board and help us get to our next destination? Cool, keep reading!

Responsibilities

We’ve built an app called Studio that allows writers to develop their worlds and characters, improve their craft, and share their story with the world as a print or digital book. It’s unique and already used by tens of thousands each day. Your role is to grow the number of monthly active users into the millions, and turn Studio into the most essential app for authors. You’ll tap into new audiences, convert existing Reedsy users to Studio, and spread the word about why Studio is the best tool out there for writing and editing books.

You will:

  • Define objectives for growth with Reedsy’s management;

  • Leverage Reedsy’s existing ecosystem by implementing referral campaigns and driving user advocacy;

  • Grow our top of funnel through a network of affiliates and influencers, as well as partnerships with brands and publications;

  • Work with our content team to create engaging content for social media and organize events;

  • Tap into new audiences and try unproven community growth strategies.

Requirements

This role is for a creative and analytical marketer with significant experience in building communities. Here’s what we look for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in growth or product marketing at a fast-paced startup;

  • Knowledge of the craft of writing through personal experience or studies;

  • Experience writing branded content (social and emails);

  • Experience in mobile video creation and editing; and

  • Strong ability to collect, analyze and report on performance data.

Bonus points

  • You’ve developed your own creative project (a book, a blog, a product — anything!);

  • Fluent in multiple languages. Reedsy welcomes applicants of all cultures and backgrounds; and

  • A good dose of ambition, a willingness to learn, and a great sense of humor.

Benefits
  • Work from home;

  • Paid paternal and maternal leave;

  • Annual team retreat

Salary range:

€40k – €60k
