The Marketing & Communications Team at Capital on Tap
The Marketing and Communications Team drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement across all channels. They develop and execute marketing strategies, manage digital presence through website optimization, content creation, and SEO, and lead public relations and award submissions to build credibility. The team handles social media, community engagement, customer communications, and CRM to ensure consistent messaging and a strong customer experience. They also manage paid media, including Google Search, sponsored social content, and affiliate partnerships, to maximize growth and ROI.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a Growth associate (CRM management) to join our team and help us continue our rapid growth trajectory. As our new Growth Associate (CRM Management), you'll be the driving force behind our customer communications across all channels, developing game-changing initiatives and campaigns to boost engagement, reduce churn, and ultimately drive our business forward.
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day management multi-channel communications designed to influence and captivate customers. Your work will involve diving deep into data to uncover valuable insights, allowing you to build targeted audiences and craft personalised messages that truly resonate.
From scoping initial project requirements and developing creative content to executing data mining techniques, you'll be responsible for audience building, ensuring seamless communication deployment, and generating reports that provide insights to all key stakeholders. This end-to-end approach ensures that every communication is strategically crafted, precisely targeted, and measurably impactful.
Reporting to our Marketing & Communications Senior Manager, you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact while receiving the support you need. You'll be at the heart of growth efforts, collaborating with our Product, Commercial, Operations, and Credit teams.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy aligned with overall business goals
- Planning and executing email marketing campaigns using our CRM platforms
- Create and optimise content for various marketing channels (email, SMS, and direct mail)
- Segment and target of customer groups for personalised communications
- Analyse campaign performance and actionable provide insights
- Maintain data integrity within the CRM systems
- Develop and implement marketing automation workflows
- Initiate and manage test-and-learn strategies to optimise communications effectiveness
- Research and propose new tools or functionalities to innovate our communications
- Monitor and optimise key performance indicators related to customer engagement and retention
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities based on customer data analysis
- Create and manage customer loyalty programs to enhance retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned messaging and strategy
We’re Looking For 🔎
Required skills:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, growth or strategy roles
- Strong analytical skills
- Keenness to get hands dirty from day 1
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copy editing and proofreading
- High ceiling and fast learner
- Highly organized and able to work with broad range of stakeholders
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Customer.io, Braze), using data visualization tools (e.g. Looker), writing SQL and running A/B tests is a big plus
- Basic HTML knowledge and familiarity with GDPR also a plus but not required
