About Us

native has been building for 10 years, but we're still very much a startup: fast-moving, ambitious, and building with intent. We're creating the infrastructure that connects students, Students' Unions, universities, and advertisers through a managed marketplace.

Our goal is to deliver for students by increasing student engagement while enabling Students' Unions to secure sustainable funding. For advertisers, we offer meaningful, measurable routes to student audiences. The more aligned these incentives are, the more defensible and scalable our business becomes.

The Opportunity

The Account Growth Manager role sits within a sector pod in our Growth pillar. You'll own 30-40 national brand accounts end-to-end, with a focus on expanding existing relationships and closing new business within your sector.

Your focus is primarily account expansion: turning a £5k account into a £50k account, understanding what else a client could buy, and growing share of wallet. Our clients include household names across FMCG, retail, travel, tech, entertainment, and recruitment. Most are under-spending with us relative to their potential. Your job is to change that.

What you'll be working on
  • Owning a book of 30-40 accounts with a clear revenue target

  • Building account plans: mapping each account's potential, identifying expansion opportunities, and executing against them

  • Running quarterly business reviews with your top accounts to understand upcoming briefs and budgets

  • Proactively pitching and closing new business within your sector

  • Working with Campaign Management to ensure delivery meets client expectations

  • Building relationships with marketing managers and brand teams at national advertisers

What we're looking for
  • 2-3 years in sales or account management, ideally in media, advertising, experiential/events, or B2B services

  • Comfortable owning commercial relationships and having pricing conversations and negotiations

  • Organised and process-driven: you can manage a pipeline and forecast accurately

  • Capable of packaging and presenting compelling proposals that respond to your sector/clients' needs, challenges and opportunities

  • Curious about clients' businesses and skilled at spotting expansion opportunities

  • Resilient: you can handle setbacks and maintain momentum

  • A genuine interest in a specific sector (FMCG, retail, travel, recruitment, property, tech, or entertainment) is a plus
