About the role  

We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our Group HR team as a HR Advisor to Support the local HR function in the implementation of the HR strategy.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner this role will sit within the Group HR Team and support our group functions which include Corporate Services, Corporate Affairs, Group HR, Group Finance and Group Innovation, Research & Development. You will support the HRBP / Senior HRBP to implement the HR Strategy and be involved with end-to-end operational HR support and be responsible for full talent lifecycle covering JML (joiner, mover, leaver) processes, recruitment, onboarding, mobility/immigration, reward, employee relations, Workday data management and reporting.  

You will use your knowledge and experience to support managers on several key focus areas including managing talent and engagement initiatives. You will be a problem solver who is trusted in resolving challenging situations, continually driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies and employment legislation. 

About you   

Minimum requirements:  

  • Experience of operating as a HR Advisor / Generalist or Administrator in a fast-paced environment (minimum 2 years)

  • Up to date, comprehensive knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation

  • Action-orientated, delivery-focused self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Confident communicating, presenting & building relationships with multiple stakeholders. 

  • Collaborative, driven, self-motivated, ‘can do’ attitude with desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to manage information from different sources and, where necessary, problem solve/ escalate, as appropriate.

  • Data and process oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Able to plan, manage, coordinate, and deliver against multiple activities.

  • Able to handle sensitive information discretely and confidentially.

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and overcoming complexity.

  • A curious and inquisitive mindset who loves problem solving.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Preferred requirements:

  • Ideally attained or interested in working towards a CIPD qualification

  • Workday experience would be beneficial.

  • Previous experience working in a matrix organisation ideally FTSE 100/250 Company

  • Experience of working with international markets/colleagues (preferred)

Location:  Hybrid min requirement is 3 days in office (Paddington Square or Redditch (R8))
