Job Description

This role champions the creative use of AI across Fremantle’s international development and production teams. You’ll spend time with territories and labels, finding out what they are exploring and creating, spotting promising ideas and connecting people who can build on each other’s work. Reporting to the Global Head of Entertainment and working closely with central AI colleagues, you’ll bring local insights back to the centre and share developments, learning and creative wins internationally to drive creative AI content development.

You’ll lead the Production AI network and help teams access relevant ideas and expertise. The role works through relationships and influence, with creative decisions, implementation and delivery targets owned by territories and labels.

Main Responsibilities

Territory engagement and discovery

  • Build strong relationships with development and production teams across territories and labels, spending time with them to understand their creative ambitions, live projects and use of AI.
  • Get out to meet teams, including territory visits where appropriate, to discover promising ideas, experiments and approaches, and understand where support or connections would help.
  • Maintain regular contact with local teams to keep up with new developments, learning and successes.

International connections and creative collaboration

  • Connect colleagues who are exploring similar ideas or have complementary experience, making introductions that help them learn from each other and collaborate.
  • Champion opportunities for creative AI content development by bringing relevant examples, ideas and collaborators to territory teams.
  • Help teams build on successful local work and explore approaches suited to their own productions, with local teams owning creative decisions and delivery.

Territory insights and international updates

  • Bring developments, insights, needs and creative wins back to the Global Head of Entertainment and central AI colleagues to inform discussions and priorities.
  • Share clear, useful updates and case studies across international teams, highlighting what others can learn from local work and where there may be opportunities to collaborate.
  • Share relevant central AI developments and guidance with territories, maintaining a regular exchange of information between local teams and the centre.

Production AI network and showcases

  • Lead the Production AI network and cross-territory forums, using local activity and interests to shape useful discussions and creative exchanges.
  • Organise demonstrations, spotlighting events and knowledge-sharing sessions that give visibility to creative work and inspire teams to explore new ideas.
  • Build engaging presentation decks and lead presentations at summits and other international forums, showcasing AI tools and their practical applications in creative content development and production.
  • Follow up on introductions and discussions to help teams access relevant people, materials and learning.

Working with central AI teams

  • Connect development and production colleagues with AI Deployment, AI Productivity and other specialists when they need advice or practical support.
  • Help teams find and understand existing AI guidance and access the right expertise. Procurement, governance, technical and Legal & Business Affairs decisions and approvals remain with the responsible central teams.

Qualifications

Key Skills

  • Significant experience in television, film or media development or production, with a strong understanding of how creative ideas become content.
  • Practical knowledge of AI and its potential uses in development and production, with curiosity about new tools, approaches and creative possibilities.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with creative and production teams, influencing senior stakeholders and working across international territories and cultures.
  • Highly proactive and comfortable getting out to meet teams, asking questions and finding out what is happening across the business.
  • Strong listening skills and creative judgement, with the ability to recognise promising work, draw out useful insights and connect people with relevant experience.
  • Experience championing new ideas and helping teams explore opportunities through collaboration and shared learning.
  • Clear, engaging communication skills, with the ability to turn developments and insights into useful updates, presentations and case studies.
  • Confidence bringing communities together and facilitating discussions, demonstrations and creative exchanges across teams.
  • Sound commercial judgement and an understanding of production realities, including the potential benefits and limitations of AI.
