About the Role
We are seeking a Group Consolidation Accountant to assist the Group Consolidation Manager and the Group Financial Controller with the statutory consolidation of the Group’s financial results. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified or qualified accountant with experience of a statutory consolidation under IFRS.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Group’s record of intercompany balances and intercompany matrix
- Ensure intercompany balances are correctly stated and eliminated at a Group level.
- Liaise with regional Finance teams regarding intercompany balances as appropriate.
- Resolution of historic intercompany accounting issues.
- Ensure intercompany loans are supported by loan agreements.
- Ensure intercompany interest has been correctly recorded.
- Assist the Group Consolidation Manager with the following:
- Preparation of the Group’s monthly consolidation for statutory accounting purposes.
- Annual audit.
- Acquisition accounting
- Technical accounting memos
- Year end accounting adjustments (IFRS 2, IFRS 9 etc.)
- Audit Committee preparation
- Review of accounting for property costs under IFRS 16.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual compliance statements.
- Preparation of lender reporting.
- Support continuous improvement in Finance processes.
- Support Group Finance initiatives as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential Skills
- Group accounting experience
- Experience of preparing intercompany reconciliations
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a private equity–backed or fast‑growth environment is advantageous

- Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities in an evolving environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
