Receive and store finished parts, process stock in the MRP system, pick and pack customer orders, prepare outbound shipments and documentation, coordinate courier collections, perform stock checks, and maintain an organised stores area while working with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
About the Opportunity:
We’re proud to be working as the internal recruitment partner for our client – a world-class organisation providing advanced manufacturing solutions for the aerospace sector. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Goods Inwards, Stores & Despatch Operative to join the team in Romford.
What you’ll be doing:
- Receiving and accurately storing finished manufactured parts.
- Ensuring all stock is processed correctly on the MRP system.
- Picking and packing customer orders with precision and care.
- Preparing outbound shipments with the correct documentation.
- Coordinating collections with approved couriers.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a tidy, organised stores area.
- Working closely with colleagues and couriers to ensure smooth operations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen willingness to learn; no previous experience is required as full training can be provided.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A strong work ethic and a proactive, positive attitude.
- High attention to detail with great organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in stores, despatch or goods inwards is desirable (but not essential – full training is provided).
- Familiarity with MRP systems would be an advantage.
- Must live within commuting distance of Romford.

- A highly competitive salary of £30,683 per annum.
- Working hours Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm.
