As an Analyst within the UK Real Money FX Sales team, you will support the coverage of some of the UK's most prominent institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies, helping to deliver best-in-class FX execution and advisory services. You will work closely with senior sales professionals, traders, and research analysts to generate ideas, respond to client needs, and contribute to the growth of our UK real money franchise. Your role will give you direct exposure to live markets, client interactions, and the full suite of J.P. Morgan's FX products and capabilities, providing an outstanding foundation for a long-term career in institutional sales.


Job responsibilities

  • Support senior sales professionals in the day-to-day coverage of UK real money clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies.
  • Assist in the execution and processing of FX transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless client experience.
  • Monitor market developments and prepare market colour, trade ideas, and relevant commentary to share with clients.
  • Collaborate with trading, research, and structuring teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of client objectives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, pitches, and materials that showcase J.P. Morgan's FX capabilities.
  • Support the team in identifying new business opportunities and expanding wallet share within the existing client base.
  • Engage with internal partners across trading, risk, and operations to ensure smooth execution and resolution of client queries.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training programmes, and broader franchise initiatives to accelerate your development.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, with a focus on foreign exchange, macro, or institutional sales.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
