Job Description
Vialto Partners is looking for a Manager to join a rapidly growing team in our Global Mobility Financial Services & Professional Services Tax business. We are looking for an individual with experience on a broad range of global mobility tax matters who is keen to develop and progress in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The individual would be comfortable managing client engagements and projects, delivering across a broad range of complex areas, helping drive key team initiatives and supporting the development of the wider team. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Day to day management of a variety of clients engagements, varying from large global businesses through to smaller businesses with an expanding global footprint.
  • Providing clients with tax advice across a range of consulting areas including tax residence, cross border moves, tax equalisation, remote working and commuting arrangements.
  • Proactively engaging with your client and the market to develop new opportunities, managing and delivering work to a high standard and meeting deadlines.
  • Reviewing work and coaching and developing junior colleagues.
  • Managing and developing client relationships through business development activities.
  • Staying up to date with evolving tax legislation and best practice and keeping clients informed of any changes.
  • Building and nurturing strong client and colleague relationships to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Working within a team both globally and nationally, whilst also being able to work independently.
  • Working with cross-functional teams and managing employment tax projects.

Preferred skills and experience

  • The candidate will have practical experience of the areas outlined above with a strong background in UK tax. 
  • Certification(s) Preferred: ACA / ATT / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA), 
  • A commitment to delivering great client service with a focus on clear and timely communication.
  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in using technology to analyse client data and improve the usability of data for clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Provides compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems.
  • Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work.
  • Project management skills including prioritisation & working to strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

  • This is a hybrid role. Location: London
  • Remote possibilities will be considered in other areas of the UK. 
  • Regular, full-time position
