ABOUT US

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.

We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

You will partner closely with individual leaders, leadership teams and other stakeholders as applicable, including the HR Partner Lead, Finance, HR Centres of Expertise, Risk, initiative teams and works councils, to implement our people strategy and support HR initiatives that help our client groups achieve their business goals. An important part of the role is empowering leaders to build high-performing teams and enhance the employee experience for their team members. To this end, you will spend time coaching and influencing leaders so that they demonstrate Swift’s leadership principles in their daily work.

Our global HR team is represented across the USA, EMEA and APAC regions, and we partner with client groups whose leaders and employees are located worldwide. As a result, this role offers opportunities for cross-cultural working and global learning. In addition, our team environment is highly collaborative and supportive. We support one another, learn from each other, and regularly share best practices and experiences to help elevate our HRBP operating model, enabling us to better address the more strategic needs of our client groups.

There will also be opportunities to lead or contribute to strategic global HR initiatives outside of your client groups and to support the evolution of the HRBP operating model at Swift.

What to expect

You will be comfortable using data to provide actionable insights, empower people leaders and enhance operational efficiency.

You will contribute to the development and empowerment of leaders who role model Swift’s leadership principles.

You will help secure Swift’s future by developing and executing workforce plans that identify future skills, foster a diverse and inclusive workforce, and maintain a sustainable cost base.

You will help drive Swift’s success by promoting and fostering a strong performance and learning culture while continuously enhancing the employee experience. This will include varied activities such as performance management, including the performance review process, talent reviews and poor performance management; rolling out our employee listening strategy; implementing actions that improve employee engagement; and supporting the adoption of our Inclusion, Belonging and Opportunity programmes.

You will be comfortable supporting sales groups as well as engineering groups or corporate functions.

You will bring your own experience, ideas and perspectives to help evolve our HRBP operating model and ensure we offer best-in-class partnership and consistent support to our client groups. You will contribute positively to the evolution of the HRBP role at Swift and to the One HR team mindset by collaborating with others, aligning and scaling our practices, and demonstrating a growth mindset.

You will have strong influencing skills and a coaching approach to help shift mindsets within management teams. You will help leaders see what is possible when aligning and optimising talent so that our people can deliver on our strategy today and in the future.

What will make you successful?
