Team Overview

As an Identity and Fraud Sales Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert supporting the growth of TransUnion's Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention solutions. Working closely with Sales, Product, Solutions, and Market Development teams, you will help customers address identity, fraud, and risk challenges through innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value. This role plays a key part in driving new business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting TransUnion's fraud and identity strategy.
This role reports to the Sales VP. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities across defined markets.

  • Deliver against individual sales targets and objectives aligned to broader Identity and Fraud growth goals.

  • Support pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and effective prioritisation of sales opportunities.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention solutions, including use cases, capabilities, value propositions, and industry applications.

  • Engage with prospects and customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and fraud, identity, or risk management requirements.

  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the sales lifecycle, from qualification to contract closure.

  • Lead customer presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and discovery sessions.

  • Clearly communicate solution functionality, business value, and commercial benefits to a variety of stakeholder groups.

  • Collaborate with Market Development teams to identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across Europe.

  • Share market and customer insights to support sales strategy, solution positioning, product development, and revenue growth.


Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in technical sales, pre-sales, account management, business development, or another customer-facing commercial role.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and commercial objectives.

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and decision-makers throughout complex sales cycles.

  • Strong understanding of identity verification, fraud prevention, risk management, or related solution areas, with the ability to translate customer challenges into business value.
     

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience using Salesforce or another Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to manage sales pipelines, opportunities, and forecasting.

  • Strong presentation and solution demonstration skills, including the ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively.

  • Ability to analyse customer, market, and sales data to identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and stakeholder groups.

  • Knowledge of financial services, fintech, telecommunications, ecommerce, or other fraud-sensitive industries.

  • Experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, or solution design discussions with customers.

  • Exposure to market analysis, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market planning activities.

  • Experience working within matrixed, cross-functional environments alongside Product, Consulting, Solutions, and Market Development teams.
