The Role

Working for Howden International Broking Limited Central to act as a FP&A Analyst to nominated Business Units and support them with; understanding of financial performance, financial decision-making and forecasting, resolving queries in relation to management accounts (P&L, Cashflow & Balance Sheet) and also to support the Howden International Broking Limited Central finance team to continually improve reporting, analysis and planning practices.

What you’ll do 

  • Supports preparation of high quality and timely Management Accounts packs with commentary including analysis and forecast outlooks on revenue, capital investments, cash flow, contractor and system spend for the nominated Business Units

  • Supports forecasting and budgeting activities

  • Manages assigned projects and contributes to other projects as required

  • Provides ad-hoc, relevant management information as required

  • Assists in the annual production of the company’s statutory financial statements.

Who we’re looking for 

  • Preparation & consolidation of management accounts (Cost centre accounting and knowledge of capital and operational spend)

  • Strong knowledge and experience in producing cash flow forecasts

  • Budgeting and Financial Analysis experience

  • Finance business partnering experience

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Implementation and improvement of processes and controls

  • Exposure to OneStream and Unit4 (Finance system)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Results-oriented and self-motivated

  • Ability to think laterally and solve problems using own initiative and challenge the status quo where necessary.

  • MS Office Literate (advanced Excel – nested vlookups, data manipulation, pivot tables etc)

Qualifications

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
