Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and completion of unybrands’ monthly financial reporting cycle
  • Assist in streamlining data flows from source to report
  • Assist CFO, FP&A team, and other key executives on Board and investor updates, presentation materials, and analyses
  • Analyse, interpret and report on brand and portfolio level performance – providing useful insights where possible
  • Support FP&A team and finance business partners around corporate-level financial decision-making, target setting, budget planning, and defining investment requirements
  • Corporate development: provide end-to-end support on capital raising and M&A transactions (buy-side or sell-side)
  • Other business initiatives: engage and collaborate with company leaders and other functional leads to support – in conjunction with finance business partners – robust business analysis. Deepen the wider organization’s ability to back-up key initiatives and proposals with robust financial analysis

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of work experience in relevant fields including finance teams or for accounting firms/investment banks
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Exceptional analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in handling and analyzing large datasets would be a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial statement structure
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to collaborate with a globally-dispersed, diverse team of colleagues
