The Role:

Legend is hiring an FP&A Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team and help us understand what is really driving performance across our iGaming business.

This isn't a role where you'll simply produce reports and explain what happened last month. You'll dig into financial and operational data, build models, investigate performance and help answer the commercial questions that influence what we do next.

iGaming is a fast-moving and complex part of our business, spanning multiple products, markets and commercial models. You'll work closely with our Senior FP&A Manager and teams across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Data to understand how the business works, what drives performance and where the biggest opportunities and risks sit.

We're looking for someone with strong financial foundations who is naturally curious, analytical and proactive. You don't need to arrive as a polished Finance Business Partner we'll help you develop that. What matters is that you're comfortable getting into the detail, asking good questions and using data to get to the bottom of a problem.

This could suit someone already working in FP&A or Commercial Finance, or someone from an audit, advisory, consulting or finance graduate background who has built strong analytical skills and wants to move closer to commercial decision-making.

Your Impact:

  • Get under the hood of business performance, analysing the P&L alongside operational and commercial KPIs to understand what's really driving results.
  • Build financial models and scenario analysis to assess opportunities, risks and potential outcomes and support better commercial decisions.
  • Turn data into insight, connecting financial and operational information to explain not only what happened, but why it happened and what we should consider doing next.
  • Investigate performance proactively, spotting trends, anomalies and questions in the numbers and following them through to understand the underlying drivers.
  • Work with teams across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Data to build your understanding of the business and provide increasingly valuable financial insight.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting and longer-term planning across a diverse portfolio of products and markets.
  • Contribute analysis to monthly business performance reviews and communicate your findings clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Challenge assumptions and continuously look for smarter ways to model, analyse and understand our performance.

What You'll Bring:

    • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with strong financial fundamentals and the ability to apply your technical knowledge to commercial business questions.
    • Strong financial and analytical foundations gained within FP&A, Commercial Finance, audit, advisory, consulting or a relevant finance programme.
    • Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience building or working with financial models, forecasts or scenario analysis.
    • Commercial curiosity, you naturally want to understand why something has happened rather than stopping at the numbers.
    • The ability to analyse complex information, identify the important drivers and form a clear point of view.
    • A proactive mindset and willingness to investigate problems, ask questions and take ownership rather than waiting for all the answers to be provided.
    • Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to explain your thinking and analysis to others.
    • An appetite to learn quickly, understand a complex business and develop your commercial finance and business partnering skills.

The Interview Process:

    1. Initial conversation with a Talent Partner (30 minutes via Zoom)
    2. Interview with the Senior FP&A Manager and People Experience Partner (60 minutes via Zoom)
    3. Take-home case study
    4. Final interview with the Senior FP&A leadership team (60 minutes via Zoom)

Legend is an Equal Opportunity Employer, but that’s just the start. We believe different perspectives help us grow and achieve more. That’s why we’re dedicated to hiring and developing the most talented and diverse team- which includes individuals with different backgrounds, abilities, identities and experiences. If you require any reasonable adjustments throughout your application process, please speak to your Talent Partner or contact the team on [email protected], and we'll do all we can to support you.
