FP & A Analyst - FTC 11 months
Are you an ambitious FP&A Analyst looking to take on a high-impact role in a growing business?
We’re looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in London on a fixed term basis. You will have ownership of leading expense management, budgeting, and reporting across the business. You’ll play a key role in improving financial visibility, ensuring accurate cost tracking, and supporting better decision-making through clear, data-led insight.
You’ll work closely with teams across the business to manage spend, challenge assumptions, and align financial plans with business priorities. The role also involves supporting investor reporting and helping improve how we report, forecast, and analyse data through better processes and tooling.
What you’ll be doing as an FP&A Analyst
- Delivering monthly expense reporting, including flash reporting, with clear analysis of variances and trends
- Leading budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, working with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve accuracy
- Producing budget vs actual variance analysis, investigating key drivers and explaining insights to senior stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of FP&A tooling and improving reporting processes to reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets
- Partnering with department heads to understand cost drivers and provide meaningful financial insight
- Managing and analysing headcount data, working closely with HR and Talent teams to align workforce planning with forecasts
- Reviewing financial transactions to ensure accurate coding and alignment with budgets and forecasts
What you’ll bring to the FP&A Analyst position
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and manage complex models and large datasets
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- A curious and inquisitive mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and ask “why”
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders, including senior leadership
- A proactive approach to improving processes, with an interest in automation and better ways of working
- Strong understanding of cost drivers and how they impact business performance
- Experience working with financial systems (NetSuite) and data tools (Power BI)
Where you’ll work
Our working model varies depending on the specific role and team requirements. We strive to provide flexibility whilst ensuring that each position is best supported for optimal collaboration and performance.
This position requires you to be in the London office three days per week minimum.
