Our client is an early-stage developer tools company building cloud-based software for AI-assisted development. Its founding team is focused on improving how developers build and ship products.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as a Founding Engineer and own product areas across infrastructure and frontend development. You will work directly with users and company leadership, with significant input into architecture and engineering practices.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack product features using TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, and Svelte.
- Talk with users, identify useful improvements, and ship them independently.
- Improve backend performance, developer workflows, and user experience.
- Shape architecture and engineering standards as the team grows.
- Collaborate in person with the founding team and iterate rapidly.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 1 to 5 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Production TypeScript experience and evidence of shipping real product features.
- Daily use of AI coding tools in a practical development workflow.
- Experience working in an early-stage or similarly fast-moving environment.
- Strong technical fundamentals and an ability to own work with minimal direction.
- Ability to work in London daily and openness to a possible future relocation to San Francisco.
Bonus points
- Developer tools or AI-native product experience.
- Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, or real-time systems experience.
- Experience with Svelte, Go, or sandboxed systems.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: GBP 120,000 to 150,000 per year.
- Equity: 1-2%.
- Visa sponsorship is available for relocation to San Francisco.
- Work trials during the interview process are paid.
Location and work model
- London, United Kingdom.
- Daily in-person work initially.
- A future move to San Francisco is anticipated; continued London-based remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
