Who we are

Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment. We create art through technology for humans to enjoy. In just 24 months, our work has been heard, watched and loved for over 3 billion minutes worldwide.

Founded by entrepreneur and investor Soheil Mirpour, we are backed by top VCs Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and GFC, alongside world-class angels from firms such as Spotify, Blackstone and KKR.

What you will do

Melotech is scaling fast, and fundraising is not a once-a-cycle sprint for us, it is a standing capability. As the Fundraise Lead, you own everything around our investor story and run it constantly. You work directly alongside our founder and CEO on the highest-stakes work in the company, driving our fundraising from Series A through Series B and beyond. On a typical day, your tasks may include:

  • Crafting our fundraising story and sparring with the founder until every line lands

  • Establishing and maintaining a network of investors across the globe

  • Directing the creation of amazing pitch decks, visuals and demos that make investors lean forward

  • Building and maintaining the financial models and deeply understanding the story behind the numbers

  • Staying plugged into the venture ecosystem, always on top of what is hot, who is writing checks, and what works

Who you are

We're looking for a structured generalist who understands the venture capital flywheel. You have seen great fundraises up close and you know what separates them from average ones.

Typically, your profile will look like this:

  • A very structured, capable generalist: consulting- or banking-trained, with the polish and rigor that comes with it

  • Real venture experience on top, and plenty of it: you have sat on the investor side and know how funds actually decide

  • Your VC exposure leans growth: you understand how Series B and beyond gets done

  • You are fully at home in a financial model and can build one from scratch that survives diligence

  • You craft narratives and slides at a level where people ask who made them

  • You run processes tightly: pipelines, follow-ups and data rooms are never stale on your watch

  • You are plugged into the ecosystem: you know the funds, the partners and the rounds that are happening right now

  • You thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment

  • A big plus: you have supported a raise end to end before, on either side of the table, and you bring an investor network of your own

What makes this exciting

You sit at the very center of the company, on the work that funds everything else. Being this close to the raise means every improvement you make shows up directly in our trajectory, and you learn how a top-tier fundraise is run from inside the room. You're not a cog in the machine but the captain of your own ship, rewarded for performance and respected for leadership. Flat hierarchies mean that your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is immediate.

We pay competitive salaries and make you an owner of the business with equity. We work remotely to give you complete freedom over your life, while meeting regularly around the world for global offsites where we strategize, bond, and push boundaries together.

What the process will look like

We hire on a rolling basis. Earliest starting date is always ASAP.

Once you begin our process, you can progress from start to offer within a week, depending on how quickly you can move through each stage:

  1. Initial interview: 30-minute introductory call - getting to know you

  2. Case interview: 90-minute case discussion - present and debate your skills

  3. Founder interview: 90-minute interview with our CEO - going deep on all topics

  4. Offer, contract signing and onboarding

Note: As we are still in stealth, you will learn more about Melotech as you progress through the stages. By the end of the Founder interview, you will have a full grasp of our business and the details of your role.
