Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

As a Finance & Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Ohme's leadership team in strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives, and executive decision-making. You will be part of the Corporate Development & Strategy team, which reports to the Chief of Staff. This role offers a unique vantage point across the organisation and an opportunity to influence high-impact projects from day one, owning the FP&A agenda and driving cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Strategic Business Partnering: proactively advise stakeholders and shape commercial decisions
  • Own budgeting and resource planning process end to end: design the process, track spend across departments, identify risks and opportunities independently
  • Lead FP&A process, systems and data infrastructure improvements as the company scales
  • Define and monitor KPIs; own business updates to leadership
  • Produce presentations, dashboards and strategy documents for internal and external stakeholders, including Board-level material
  • Lead financial, strategic and market analysis on companies and industry trends in energy/EV, setting the analytical agenda
  • Act as thought partner to the Chief of Staff, shaping strategic priorities
What We're Looking For
  • Strategic Analytical Background: 7-10 years' experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role, ideally within consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup.
  • Stakeholder Influence: A clear and confident communicator with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across teams.
  • Commercial Mindset: A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, comfortable with high ambiguity and able to lead initiatives end to end in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, from scoping through execution.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL/BI experience expected
  • Degree in finance, economics or related field; MBA, CFA or ACA a plus
