Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

As a Finance & Strategy Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Ohme’s leadership team in strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives, and executive decision-making. 

You will part of the Corporate Development & Strategy team, which reports to the Chief of Staff. This role offers a unique vantage point across the organisation and an opportunity to influence high-impact projects from day one. 

What You’ll Do 
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a key advisor to stakeholders, providing proactive analysis to support commercial decisions 
  • Financial Planning & Control: Play a lead role in the budgeting and resource planning processes, tracking spend across departments while identifying risks and opportunities 
  • Help improve FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as we scale 
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to regular business updates 
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and strategy documents for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Conduct financial, strategic and market analysis on companies, industries in the energy and EV sector 
  • Act as a thought partner to the Chief of Staff & Strategy team 
What We’re Looking For 
  • Strategic Analytical Background: Significant experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role, ideally within consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup. 
  • Stakeholder Influence: A clear and confident communicator with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and work collaboratively across teams. 
  • Commercial Mindset: A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, comfortable with ambiguity and able to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
  • Naturally curious and entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus
