As a Finance & Strategy Associate, you will support Ohme's leadership team in strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives, and executive decision-making. You will be part of the Corporate Development & Strategy team, which reports to the Chief of Staff. This role offers a unique vantage point across the organisation and an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects from day one, working with high autonomy on day-to-day tasks and senior oversight on judgment calls and stakeholder-facing outputs.
What You'll Do
- Support budgeting and resource planning: build and maintain trackers, flag variances, escalate risks
- Support Strategic Business Partnering: Prepare various financial analysis for stakeholders
- Help improve FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure as we scale
- Own KPI tracking and produce regular business updates
- Build presentations, dashboards and strategy documents, with review before external use
- Conduct financial, strategic and market analysis on companies and industry trends in energy/EV, with a defined scope set by senior team
What We're Looking For
- Strategic Analytical Background: 5+ years experience in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role, ideally within consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup.
- Stakeholder Influence: A clear and confident communicator with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and work collaboratively across teams.
- Commercial Mindset: A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, comfortable with ambiguity and able to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus
- Degree in finance, economics or related field
